India will now be able to access the internet at no charge at least until the end of the year, thanks to Mukesh Ambani's new Reliance Jio service. The mobile network company will also offer inexpensive phones in order to get more people connected to the network.

Ambani, a business tycoon and chairman of Reliance Industries Limited will tender a $20 billion mobile network that could deliver fast internet to more than a hundred million people. The best thing about it is that the service is free until Dec. 31. 2016. Starting Jan. 1, 2017, the service will cost 149 rupees ($2.25) per month which is far cheaper compared to other mobile networks, CNN Money reported.

According to India's richest man, Jio's network has been acclaimed as the biggest 4G LTE distribution elsewhere in the world. He further stated that the network is also "future proof" with a built-in reinforcement for the forthcoming 5G and 6G network technologies. The 4G network coverage is accessible in 18,000 cities and in more than 200,000 remote areas. By next year, the mobile network company will attempt to widen its coverage to 90 percent of the country's population.

"India and Indians cannot afford to be left behind," Ambani said. "The era of paying for voice calls is ending," he added.

India by now has some of the most inexpensive voice calling platform, however, data stays costly for most subscribers. Due to inadequately wired internet infrastructure, a smartphone is the only way that many Indians initially understand the internet.  Jio network is putting up free voice calls and data tariffs to a populace of 1.3 billion commencing at 1 GB of data costing Rs 50 or 75 cents, according to Mashable.

For those who cannot manage to pay for pricey devices, Jio network will extend a hand offering low-priced but quality smartphones called Lyf. Its approach is such-like to Google's Android One Initiative offering inexpensive smartphones in order to have many individuals linked to the internet as probable.

Soon, the 4G LTE will reach a wider range of coverage in India and will be accessible with low rates and at the same time will provide free fundamental communication services such as calling and text messages. Several people who cannot meet the expense of exceptional devices or data services can take advantage of the internet.
