Bandai Namco announced "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" for Playstation Vita and Playstation 4 release in Europe and North America on Nov. 8.
The announcement also revealed preorder bonuses including a costume pack and an A4-size lithography signed by Reki Kawaha, creator of the RPG. Players may use the exclusive maid and nightwear costumes for Asuna and the God Eater costume for female and male characters so they can appear as Livie or Soma, respectively.
New non-player characters, Premiere voiced by Yuiko Tatsumi and Genesis voiced by Kazuyuki Okitsu are also added in this SAO version. Genesis just like Kirito will be introduced as a black swordsman.
SAO for PS Vita and PS4 comes in regular and limited editions. The latter contains a box illustration by Abec, Blu-ray Disc with a special case, pamphlet of "Dengeki Nerve Gear Vol. 4," posters and an original soundtrack CD. OST will include "Windia" performed by Luna Haruna.
Early birds during the preorder period will receive a product code for an extra costume. In Europe, the limited edition comprises six-inch figures of Asuna and Kirito, Anime News Network reported.
Further, the game's Skill Tree System offers new features including improved fight skills during player's virtual world trip. Battle Skill, Sword Skill and Extra Skills are also added into the skill families. Extra skills such as heal, tank and attack will depend on the player's combat techniques, Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed.
Aside from improved skills, players can expect better relationships and interactions with co-gamers with the Cosleeping Event which allows partners to have conversations while lying down.
Apart from this new SAO for PS4 and PS Vita game, fans can expect a manga adaptation on October.
