Season 6 has turned up for the fantasy/crime series "Grimm" and might be the last of the series. Fans get excited for the premiere date, as the show might eventually wrap up storylines from the previous seasons.

"Grimm" Season 6, however, has been reported to only have 13 episodes, as opposed to the previous ones having 22 episodes each. However, even as Season 6 has not been released, it is rumored to be the last of the entire series basing it on the reduction of episodes this time.  With the network cutting off nine episodes, it appears that the story will pick up and tie up loose ends.

Although, during the Televsion Critics Association press tour, NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt mentioned that there may be more episodes to be brought into light, according to Oregon Live. Greenblatt claimed that it is still too early to tell whether "Grimm" will be cancelled or move forward to further possible seasons. This may be an assurance to fans that the show may still go on.

Meanwhile, rumors teased that the main antagonist in "Grimm" Season 6 will be the infamous group Black Claw. Speculations also include Captain Sean Renard possibly turning to the dark side.

In the finale of the previous season, Renard (Sasha Roiz) saved the life of Nick Burkhardt ( David Giuntoli) from Conrad Bonaparte (Shaun Toub). Renard and Nick may have a love and hate relationship but they will be working together to stop Black Claw; however, rumor has it that Renard might take over as leader of the group in "Grimm" Season 6.

In other news, while Season 5 brought in news of Rosalee Calvert (Bree Turner) and Munroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) expecting a child, "Grimm" Season 6 might focus on highlighting their story arc even more. Turner explained in an interview with Showbiz Junkies that the news of her character getting pregnant in the caverns is true.

Considering that Portland may be too dangerous for the budding family, Munroe and Rosalee would consider having their happy ending with their new child elsewhere, where they could have a quiet normal life. As for the baby, Turner is still unsure on what it could be - a Fuchsbau, Blutbad or a hybrid.

With this being the final season, character story arcs will start wrapping up, especially with the return of Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch) marking its conclusion soon.

"Grimm" Season 6 will premiere on Oct. 28, 2016.
