"Suicide Squad" actress Margot Robbie made headlines last year when she was spotted getting cozy with Prince Harry in Suki Waterhouse's housewarming party in London. Now, rumors are circulating that Robbie and the prince have been texting each other regularly - apparently, much to the dismay of Robbie's longtime boyfriend, Tom Ackerly.

According to Hello!, the "Suicide Squad" actress initially mistook the royal for "Thinking Out Loud" hitmaker Ed Sheeran when she first saw him. Though the prince felt a little offended at first, the two seemed to have put the incident past them now, if reports about their blossoming friendship are to be believed. In fact, just recently, Robbie even revealed that the prince was "pretty quick on text," while it would often take her days, or even weeks, to reply.

Despite rumors to the contrary, however, Robbie insists that her relationship with the royal is purely platonic.  While Robbie and the prince do exchange text messages every now and then, the "Suicide Squad" beauty is reported to be still very much together with her assistant director boyfriend, Tom Ackerly. As mentioned by the Mirror, Robbie and Ackerly - who share a London flat with four other roommates - have been together for three years now. While rumors continue to hound the pair's relationship, the loved-up duo was seen packing on the PDA in a recent outing in Hawaii.

Robbie's career has gone from strength to strength since her Hollywood blockbuster debut in "The Wolf of Wall Street" in 2013. Just this year, she starred alongside Will Smith and Jared Leto in "Suicide Squad," and alongside "True Blood" actor Alexander Skarsgård in "The Legend of Tarzan." She is set to star as American figure skater Tonya Harding in the upcoming biopic, "I, Tonya" directed by Craig Gillespie.
