Hope Elizabeth Soberano, who is professionally known as Liza Soberano, was recently included in the list of 100 women with the most beautiful face in the world. The Filipino actress just turned 18 on Jan. 4, Monday.
In the list of the 100 most beautiful faces of 2015 by TC Candler, Soberano ranked sixth, beating "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" star Chloe Grace Moretz, who ranked seventh, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 star Emilia Clarke, who ranked 10th, and "Assassin's Creed" actress Marion Cotillard, who ranked18th.
Clarke is set to reprise her role as Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones" Season 6, which is set to premiere on HBO in April. She will also star in two upcoming films, which are "Voice from the Stone" and "Me Before You."
Soberano also beat Lupita Nyong'o, who ranked 11th. The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actress recently told Entertainment Weekly, "As an actor for films, your eyes are a lot of the way you communicate anyway."
Camilla Belle ranked eighth while Ana de Armas ranked ninth. At number 12 to 17 respectively are Zara Larsson, Chou Tzuyu, Odeya Rush, Nargis Fakhri, Zoey Deutch and Kim Ah-young also known as Yura while Satomi Ishihara and Maite Perroni were at numbers 19 and 20, respectively.
The five women Soberano failed to beat in the list of women with the most beautiful face in the world are South Korean singer and actress Im Jin-ah, also known as Nana, "Furious 7" star Gal Gadot, British fashion model Jourdan Dunn, "Harry Potter" alum Emma Watson and Iranian singer and actress Golshifteh Farahani, who ranked first to fifth respectively.
Soberano's fellow Filipino actress Kathryn Bernardo, 19, is also in the list at number 80. Soberano and Bernardo co-starred in the Philippine TV series "Got to Believe" on ABS-CBN in 2013.
Born in Santa Clara, California to a Filipino father and American mother and raised by her grandparents in Visalia, California, Soberano moved to Manila, Philippines in 2008. She was 13 when she was discovered and introduced to her talent manager Ogie Diaz.
In the Philippines, Soberano is best known for her starring role in the ABS-CBN hit romantic comedy series "Forevermore" opposite Enrique Gil. She and Gil starred in the 2015 film "Just the Way You Are" after the TV series ended.
