"Deadpool 2" will bring back the "merc with a mouth," and will introduce new mutants that could possibly bring the "X-Force" in the big screen.

The upcoming film will debut new mutants and "X-Force" members Cable and Domino, Jeff Sneider, Masahable reported via Meet the Movie Press. Accordingly, actors Kyle Chandler and Mackenzie Davis were reportedly eyed to fill the respective roles.

Deadpool, Cable and Domino are members of "X-Force," a group of superheroes that protects humans from evil mutants. "X-Force" first appeared in "The New Mutants" comic book series which is now reportedly in active development, Screen Rant reported. Other known members of the "X-Force" who have appeared in the "X-Men" films are Psylocke and Collosus.

For the uninitiated, Cable is the time-travelling son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, Jean Grey's clone in the comics. He also founded the "X-Force," a group that protects humans from evil mutants. However, unlike the "X-Men," Cable's philosophy is takes a more proactive approach taking down their enemies before they unleash chaos.

Domino, on the other hand is Neena Thurman, one of the many children born to the U.S. Government's Project Armageddon. She is genetically engineered to be a perfect weapon with the use of a precognitive mutant named Beatrice. Interestingly, in the comic books, Domino debuted as Copycat a.k.a Vanessa Geraldine Carlysle, Deadpool's love interest.

"Deadpool" producer Simon Kinberg confimed that the sequel will start filming on 2017. He said that "Deadpool 2" will break the fourth wall again and comment on the proliferation of sequels and cinematic universes in a fun way.
