Warner Bros. has confirmed that "Ocean's Eleven" will be rebooted with "Ocean's Eight," which will have an all-female cast. The ensemble cast of the movie includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina.

The filming of the movie is scheduled to start from October in New York, Deadline reported. Along with the cast, the movie will also have the original cast of the Ocean's trilogy making guest appearances. "Ocean's Eight" will be produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures and will have Gary Ross as the director.

For a long time, Steven Soderbergh, and Jerry Weintraub, the director, and producer of the Ocean's trilogy and Ross were planning this reboot with Warner Bros. creative development President Greg Silverman. But, after Weintraub's dead last summer, Jesse Ehrman and Susan Ekins are the ones who will be managing the production of "Ocean's Eight" with Silverman.

The all-female cast and that too of such great actresses will ensure that "Ocean's Eight" turns out to be great. However, an original story would have done justice to the all-female cast and help them get their dues, E! News reported. However, the report further states that the casting for any movie should be gender-neutral in order to produce classics. It cites the example of Angelina Jolie starrer "Salt" that was previously to be done by Tom Cruise.

It must be mentioned here that "Ocean's Eleven," the first part of the trilogy, collected $1.12 billion worldwide. With the theme of a casino heist, the movie had George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon, along with Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, and Andy García. "Ocean's Eleven," has the sequels "Ocean's Twelve" released in 2004 and "Ocean's Thirteen" released in 2007. And, now comes the reboot, "Ocean's Eight."
