Actress Anne Hathaway and singer Rihanna are said to have signed up for the upcoming "Ocean's Eleven" spinoff film featuring an all-female lead cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has almost filled up the roster for the main cast of "Ocean's Ocho," and it includes Hathaway ("Princess Diaries," "Les Misérables") and Rihanna (albums "Girls Like Me," "Anti"), along with Helena Bonham Carter ("Harry Potter," "Alice in Wonderland"), Nora Lum aka Awkwafina ("Dude," "Neighbors 2"), and Mindy Kaling ("The Mindy Project," "The Office").

Sandra Bullock ("Gravity," "Ms. Congeniality") has been reported to be the lead, and Cate Blanchett ("Lord of the Rings," "Robin Hood") is also said to be part of the film.

If true, then the roster would still be one name short to fill up "Ocean's Eight."  The Guardian says that Elizabeth Banks ("The Hunger Games," "Pitch Perfect") is rumored to join the movie.

Bonham Carter, at the time of her interview with Entertainment Weekly in June, said that she was still unsure if she will be joining the cast.  Nonetheless, she admires the script and said that it's good for women.

"It's a really good script - but I still don't know if I'm going to be in it," she told EW. "But it's a great script, and it's great for women. Just hilarious."

The screenplay was written by Olivia Milch. Gary Ross, director of "The Hunger Games," will be helming the upcoming project. The idea for the spinoff was said to have been conceived "Ocean's Eleven" actor George Clooney, producer Jerry Weintraub, and Steven Soderbergh, director of the "Ocean's Trilogy."

Warner Bros. has not made an official announcement regarding the cast of "Ocean's Ocho," but production will reportedly start this October.
