South Korean actor and former model Kim Woo Bin wrote a personal letter to his fans and the viewers of the new drama "Uncontrollably Fond," as he felt like the show did not meet the expectations of the fans due to the recent negative responses of the audience to the show.

The actor wrote on his fans page that he cannot help but worry that the drama did not meet the expectations of the fans. He added that fans have been waiting for a long time for a new project for him and he feels apologetic that he could not "return as a brighter character," All KPop reported.

Kim added that when he met Shin Joon Young, his character in "Uncontrollably Fond," he learned many different emotions and it was a precious time for him because he got the chance to think many things over.

He continued, "I wanted to present these precious emotions, thoughts, and warmth to everyone. I dared to use the expression 'present' and I dearly hope that these feelings will be delivered to you as you watch the last episode." The 27-year-old actor added that he hopes that his fans would feel more about the emotions that he intends to show and give in the upcoming episodes, Movie News Guide reported.

He concluded his statement by thanking the fans for giving an "underserving me" the endless love of viewers and fans.

"Uncontrollably Fond" has been suffering in low ratings since the release of "W," which airs during the same day and time that the Kim-led show also airs.

Another episode for "Uncontrollably Fond" is set to air this Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 P.M. on KBS2. Kim stars on the show alongside Suzy Bae.

Kim is current shooting for the movie "Master."
