After "Descendants of the Sun" has become a worldwide phenomenon, two more Korean dramas are battling it out as to which show has the higher ratings. Both "Doctors" and "Uncontrollably Fond" are loved by Korean fans.

"Uncontrollably Fond" has reportedly hit a new high rating on Monday's episode, after celebrity Shin Joon-young confessed his love to the ordinary girl No Eul. Shin is played by actor Kim Woo-bin and No is played by Suzy Bae.

Many fans of the show were going crazy over Shin giving No a teddy bear as a gift during his concert. He also revealed his affection for her during the jam-packed concert, KPop Herald reported. Shin's romantic gesture stems from the previous episode wherein he and No have agreed to date for three months in exchange for No's request that Shin should appear in her documentary.

A lot of the fans of "Uncontrollably Fond" also loved the moment when No was taking a video of Shin during his concert when he was singing a ballad. It took No a moment to realize that he was actually looking directly at her while he was singing the love song. A sentence then flashed on the screen behind Shin that reads: "There is a person I love right here, today I will confess my love."

He then takes No to the stage. Shin gave No the teddy bear but it was reminiscent for No as it looked like the one that the celebrity gave to her when they were in high school. During that time, Shin just pranked No and she cannot help but think this might be another joke on her again.

No then refused the teddy bear in front of all Shin's fans. The Monday episode of "Uncontrollably Fond" is at 14 percent according to Nielsen Korea. It was two percent higher than the previous episode.

As for "Doctors," it was released a few weeks earlier than "Uncontrollably Fond" and it is a hospital-based drama, The Bitbag reported. It stars Park Shin Hye playing the role of Yoo Hye Jeong and Kim Rae Won, playing her love interest Hong Ji Hong.

"Doctors" recently garnered 19 percent in viewership last week. It started with a 12.9 percent viewership during its first episode.

Both "Doctors" and "Uncontrollably Fond" are expected to get higher ratings than "Descendants of the Sun," which had 38.8 in its finale last April.
