"Rainbow Six Siege" DLC, also known as "Operation Skull Rain," was released on Aug. 2, wherein it featured two new operatives, some new equipment and a new map.

The "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC came with two new BOPE Operators. The first operator is a Defender named Taina "Caveira" Pereira. She has the ability to sneak up and interrogate an enemy, which will then reveal the positions of other enemies.

The second additional "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC operator is an Attacker named Vicente "Capitão" Souza. He is equipped with a special crossbow that can shoot mini smoke grenades and can serve as a cover for the player's team. He can also shoot deadly asphyxiation darts using his crossbow, Cinema Blend reported.

"Rainbow Six Siege" DLC players will also enjoy a new game mode called Tactical Realism. The new mode is quite challenging but exciting, especially for veteran players. In this mode, all information on the HUD is no longer available except for the compass, round timer, weapon and gadget panels.

The "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC's new mode also features realistic ammo management; however, Kill confirmation and enemy marking is not available in this game mode. Although, gamers can still expect some changes in the future as this new mode is still in beta, PC Gamer reported.

Another interesting feature of the new "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC is a new free map called "Favela," where the map's setting is in the slums of Brazil. The new map gives players opportunities for long range sniping and close quarter combat because it is featured with alleys and high vantage points.

"Rainbow Six Siege" DLC also comes with minor cosmetic features such as new weapon skins and a new weapon attachment. It also gives players option to surrender.

The "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC new characters were made available on Aug. 2 to season pass holders, while the rest of the fans can purchase the characters on Aug. 9.
