There are still a few days left before "Suicide Squad" finally hits theaters, but it seems there are already plans to bring the band of villains back for a sequel. That's not really surprising, but the question is, will the whole team be reunited "Suicide Squad 2"?

In March, The Wrap reported that the sequel to the comic-inspired film will be shot in 2017. Writer-director David Ayer was hoping at the time that he would be able to fit his and actor Will Smith's other project - the police thriller "Bright" - this fall before Warner Bros. calls them for the next "Suicide Squad" movie.

This can be taken as an indirect confirmation that Smith will reprise his role as Floyd Lawton a.k.a. Deadshot in the second film. However, it is so far unknown who among the other characters will survive in the first movie to join him in "Suicide Squad 2."

Considering the extremely dangerous mission that government official Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) is sending them into, it can be surmised that not all of them will survive - or at least, one can speculate that some of the supporting characters might not make it. Fans, of course, will find out when "Suicide Squad" comes out, but for now, they can try to guess who would be good replacements and/or additions to the team in the sequel.

Creators listed some of the villains that could be included in "Suicide Squad 2," namely: Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke; Roy Harper aka Arsenal; Solomon Grundy; Bane; Selina Kyle aka Catwoman; Victor Fries aka Mister Freeze; Louis Lincoln aka Killer Frost; Lobo; Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy; Rudolph Jones aka Parasite; King Kraken; Eve Eden aka Nightshade; Barbara Minerva aka Cheetah; Ben Turner aka Bronze Tiger; and Jason Todd aka Red Hood.

It's all a guessing game and it will remain so until "Suicide Squad 2" starts filming next year. For now, fans can just wait for the release of "Suicide Squad" on Aug. 5.
