"Prison Break" Season 5 revival is confirmed to return on 2017, six years after its previous season finale. It was Wentworth Miller who announced the series comeback during the San Diego Comic Con 2016.

Many fans are speculating on what will happen in "Prison Break" Season 5. Majority of the show's fans are eager to learn more about Sarah and Michael's love story, as well as how the new plot will grace their relationship.

In the "Prison Break" Season 5 trailer, Miller is pictured inside a prison in Morocco. Lincoln tells Sarah that Michael is alive and goes to Morocco to get his brother out.

Michael, on the other hand, uses his inmate to plot their escape using a piece of bubblegum. This gave fans a relief to see Michael in "Prison Break" Season 5 stick to his crazy dialogues that people are used to seeing, IB Times reported.

In "Prison Break" Season 5, fans will also see Sarah moving on for her son's sake since Michael was supposedly dead on the previous season. Viewers may see that Sarah has fallen out of love for Michael and gives her son a stepfather.

During the "Prison Break" panel interview in San Diego Comic Con, Dominic Purcell announced that Miller was the person who brought up the idea of having "Prison Break" Season 5.

The "Prison Break" series had Purcell and Miller as brothers. They were the main actors playing as Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield, respectively.  Following the famed series, both actors joined forces again in "The Flash" DC series.

Purcell said that when he first appeared on the set of "The Flash" for the first time, the two "Prison Break" brothers acted like they were never apart for a long time. Both of them immediately started reminiscing about "Prison Break." Purcell revealed that one of the highlights of their talks was Miller's go signal to revive the series.

Purcell and Miller approached executive producer, Paul Scheuring, who then suggested the plot line for "Prison Break" Season 5. According to reports, "Prison Break" Season 5 will present fresh angles and a tad radical, yet remain strong to the original theme. Producers said they will simultaneously give viewers a different angle to the upcoming series.

"Prison Break" Season 5 has been announced as a limited series, HOF Mag reported. Executive producers of the show have signed a deal for nine episodes.
