The "Spiderman" franchise has seen numerous films being made in all these years but the gliding superhero never fails to inspire more action and adventure. In the upcoming "Spiderman: Homecoming," one can expect more badass drama as it will feature Vulture for the first time.

"Spiderman: Homecoming's" cast members were announced at the recently concluded San Diego Comic-con (SDCC), Movie News Guide reported. The joint production of Marvel Studios and Columbia Pictures will star Tom Holland as Peter Parker aka Spiderman, while others include Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Zendaya, Bokeem Woodbine, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon and Laura Harrier.

After the cast announcement at SDCC, concept art of the movie was also released, wherein Spiderman is seen facing off with Vulture, IGN reported.

Although the roles of other cast members were not revealed just yet, rumor has it that Michael Keaton will portray Vulture, who is being brought to life on screen for the first time. He is said to give a tough fight to the webslinger in "Spiderman: Homecoming."

Keaton's name as a villain has been circulating around for a long time, though it was also speculated that Woodbine would portray another villain. Since both actors are included in the cast member's list, another villain cannot be ruled out and fans would love the combo.

Meanwhile, some says that Marisa Tomei will portray the role of May Parker, Peter Parker's aunt, while Revolori and Harrier will play the role of Peter's classmates.

While one doesn't know how Tomei will look like as Peter's aunt, her casting has led social media to criticize the choice. It is being said that she is too young to justify the role of Spiderman's aunt, as the previous movies have had older actresses essaying the role. However, co-writer of "Captain America: Civil War" Stephen McFeely defended the choice and said that MCU tries to make Peter Parker "as naturalistic as possible."

"Spiderman: Homecoming" is slated to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
