"American Horror Story" cast member Emma Roberts revealed at San Diego's Comic Con that she is poised to return on the show's forthcoming sixth season.
The actress, who also stars on FOX's "Scream Queens," has addressed the issue of her return on "American Horror Story" Season 6 during the Q&A panel of the horror-comedy at San Diego's Comic Con event on Friday, US Weekly reported.
"I think that there might be - I was going to last season," Roberts told the crowd.
"I would love to go back and do a few episodes."
Roberts, 25, played a student witch on "American Horror Story" Season 3's Coven. However, after her portrayal of Madison Montgomery, the actress has not made any follow-up appearances since then.
As two seasons of "American Horror Story" went down, Roberts became busy working on her recent project "Scream Queens." The horror-comedy is also being ran by prolific producer, Ryan Murphy. In the series, Roberts stars as Chanel Oberlin, the leader of a popular sorority in a fictional campus.
As of now, details about "American Horror Story" Season 6 are still being kept under wraps. Although it has been already confirmed that Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson will return, the new storyline remains to be a mystery for now.
Fans get a bit of tease when FX Network unveiled the official poster of "American Horror Story" on Facebook last month. The image features a black background with the show's signature number 6 inked in bloody, dark red. The cable network did not release any caption for the poster.
Following the release of the poster, the official premiere date of "American Horror Story" Season 6 was announced. It has been slated to kick off with new episodes this fall on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10PM.
