Sri Lankan model and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is on high after the success of her previous movie Housefull 3 opposite Akshay Kumar.

The 30-year-old Kick actress may reportedly replace leading Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif in superstar Salman Khan's home production project, which will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

Earlier it was reported that Mansukhani had roped Kaif to play the female lead in the movie opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Now media reports claim that Fernandez may play the female lead in the movie. Salman Khan is only producing the film and not acting in it.

"Both girls are hard working, professional, completely focused and ruthlessly ambitious. They also have a similar personality profile. So the roles that would have ideally gone to Katrina, especially with Salman, went to Jacqueline," a leading Bollywood producer said, Bollywoodlife reported. "But by then Katrina was involved with Ranbir Kapoor. Salman and Katrina had mutually decided not to work together. Then Katrina also decided she won't work with Ranbir in Roy. That too went to Jacqueline, a flop but the actress was noticed."

Jacqueline has already replaced the Fitoor actress in the sequel of Hrithik Roshan' Bang Bang movie. Fernandez, who was last seen in Housefull 3, will be next seen in Rohit Dhawan' action drama Dishoom, which also stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, and veteran actor Akshay Khanna. In a recent media interview, the actress also expressed her interest in Hollywood saying that she would love to be a part of as many different kinds of cinema as possible.

Check out Jacqueline Fernandez' latest song - Sau Tarah Ke - from her upcoming movie Dishoom. The song has gone viral on social media and got more than one million hits on YouTube.
