"Descendants of the Sun" actor Song Joong Ki has finally achieved a major milestone in his life which he dreamt of 10 years ago.
On Friday, an alumna of the college where the 30-year-old actor attended shared on Instagram a picture of them together, with a caption that hinted about an important detail in his life, Soompi reported.
"We once talked about this. Probably about 10 years ago?" Pinky captioned the picture with Song Joong Ki. "When Joon Ki becomes famous and is appointed as the Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism, I said I wanted to host the event and present him with the honors."
"It feels like it was just yesterday when he responded by waving his hand and saying, 'Noona, how could I ever~', but now you're really a world star!!" she added. "The day that our dreams came true. Thank you."
In April, the "Descendants of the Sun" leading man was appointed as the Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism.
There are reports that by July, tourism advertisements featuring Song Joong Ki will already start airing.
While he has been successful in his career, many of his fans might have been wondering about the real score of his lovelife.
According to Asia Times, the "KiKyo" loveteam, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo looked good together when they attended the recently-concluded 52nd Baeksang Arts Award.
The rumored couple appeared sweet while at the awards ceremony where they received the Most Popular Male in TV and Most Popular Female in TV awards, respectively.
