Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park stars as the lead in the upcoming Korean film "One Step." The movie, which also stars actor Han Jae Suk, is the Korean remake of the 2013 American film "Begin Again," which stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine.

Sandara Park stars as Si Hyun, the Korean counterpart of Knightley's character. Si Hyun suffers from memory loss after getting into a fatal car accident, The Jakarta Post reported. She meets struggling songwriter Jee Il, played by Han Jae Suk. Si Hyun and Jee Il try to piece together a coherent picture of Si Hyun's past by completing a song from the melody that she hears in her dream

Contrary to rumors, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levin will not make a cameo appearance in the Korean movie. According to Variety, the movie is directed by Juhn Jai Hong, and is produced by MCC Entertainment, the same company that came out with top Korean dramas including "Jewel in the Palace." "One Step" hits theaters in April this year, and is Park's first film role.

Meanwhile, Sandara Park has been actively pursuing her solo career after 2NE1's shocking disbandment in 2016. She currently has projects in Korea and overseas, specifically the Philippines.

She also made headlines earlier this year after Sandara Park and G-Dragon dating rumors circulated the internet after a video of G-Dragon protecting Sandara Park from fans surfaced. Although they have since clarified that they are nothing but good friends, it is evident that the two labelmates have a close relationship.

On a February 2017 broadcast of "Get It Beauty," Park confessed that she changed her makeup routine because of G-Dragon. She explained that she now prefers to do simple makeup after G-Dragon made fun of her at a club by saying, "Who still wears a full face of makeup to the club nowadays?"
