"Logan" finally hits theaters this week as the world says goodbye to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. But aside from the clawed superhero, another character made a brief yet hilarious appearance to hype up the anticipation for his own sequel.

Deadpool Surprise Clip

It's confirmed: "Logan" will not have any post-credit scenes which practically places Hugh Jackman's characterization of Wolverine to a definite end. But instead of a post-credit scene, movie goers were in for a surprise because none other than Deadpool appeared before the official start of the movie.

According to IGN, the teaser was made by the sequel's director David Leitch ("John Wick"). It's offers a bit of homage to Superman as Reynolds, in his casual clothing sees a mugging in progress where he immediately proceeds to a phone booth to change. Because Deadpool is no Superman, he's not the fastest in changing clothes and viewers are hilariously offered a rear-view of the anti-hero.

Stan Lee makes a cameo but was rebuked by Deadpool in his official garb. But he arrives late as the mugging has ended and the victim is already dead ("you're not gonna walk that one off"). The clip ending with Deadpool using the victim's body as a headrest while on a monologue about phone booths, ice cream and other random subjects.

Who is Nathan Summers?

The teaser for "Deadpool 2" actually have a bit of an easter egg for fans to enjoy. Among them is the reference to Nathan Summers in the phone booth. According to Comic Book, Nathan Summers is the alternate name of Cable which means he's definitely coming to the sequel although they still have to pin down who will play the time traveling mutant.

While production date of the sequel is still unknown, it's nice to see Leitch is already working with Reynolds for the upcoming film. As soon as they cast Cable, they will start production and release the film in 2018.
