Angelina Jolie reveals how she is coping up after divorce with Brad Pitt

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has finally opened up for the first time how she is moving on with her life after parting ways with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

In her recent interview with BBC, the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” star admitted that she had been having a rough time after she and Pitt decided to end their 12-year relationship, CNN reports. However, she promised that her whole family will be able to surpass life’s challenges with the hope that it will make it stronger in the end.

"It was a very difficult time and we're a family. And we will always be a family ...And we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it,” Jolie told the news agency as quoted by The Telegraph.

She further said: “Many, many people find themselves in this situation.My whole family - we've all being through a difficult time…My focus is my children, our children, and my focus is finding this way through and as I said we are and forever will be a family and so that is my, that is how I am coping…I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer…Get through the day, it's been a difficult few months".

Jolie filed for a divorce from Pitt in September last year after two years of marriage, reports. In line with this, the actress requested for an overall custody for their six children namely Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.

The 41-year-old actress had her first leading role in the 1993 science fiction action film “Cyborg 2”. She rose to fame through her portrayals in “Hackers”, ”Girl, Interrupted ”, and ”Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. Before her marriage to Pitt, Jolie was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
