South Korean singer and actor Doojoon gave a safe answer on the brand issue after he and fellow “B2ST/ BEAST” members’ split up from talent management agency Cube Entertainment during a press conference for his new show “Mr. Baek The Homemade Food Master Season 3” on Feb. 21.
According to the 27-year-old star as quoted by Soompi: “I have nothing to say about the name issue…Not only do we not know anything yet, but it’s too sensitive to discuss at a press conference…It hasn’t been a long time since we switched agencies, but I’m thankful that we’ve been cast in a lot of things”.
He added referring to his latest show: “I like eating, so I wanted to appear on a program through which I can show a positive side of myself. I hope they cast me because I’m good at eating. I want to make the viewers happy”.
On December last year, Doojoon, together with his fellow band members Yoseob, Kikwang, Dongwoon, and Junhyung, announced their departure from Cube Entertainment after 7 years of working together and has likewise revealed the launch of their new label Around US Entertainment. Because of this, the group was restricted to use the trademark “B2ST” or “BEAST” as its rights were owned by their former agency.
Meanwhile, Doojoon has recently joined the “Around The World Travel Package” in its recent Switzerland episode, All Kpop reported. During the show, the artist shared a good time with program hosts Kim Yong Man, Ahn Jung Hwan, and Kim Sung Joo.
Doojoon made his entertainment debut in 2009 after he was casted in the popular South Korean sitcom “High Kick Through The Roof”. At the same year, he joined the boy group B2ST (Boys 2 Search the Top) which was later called BEAST (Boys of East Asia Standing Tall). Since then, the KPop idol decided to focus on his musical career.
