Nam Joo Hyuk named "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" co-star Lee Sung Kyung as the actress he wants to work with again if given the chance.

Following the success of their on-screen relationship in the MBC drama, the other half of Swag Couple hopes to be reunited with Lee Sung Kyung to "create a different type of fun chemistry," according to Soompi.

Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung took the lead roles for the come-of-age drama series. Despite the low ratings, "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" was a big hit among young adults because of its playful story.

On top of that, the MBC drama even trended for its popular lines "Do you like Messi?" and "Swag" which have gotten viral in the internet world.

Previously, Nam Joo Hyuk admitted he admires the character of Kim Bok Joo because of her words of encouragement. Allkpop reported the model-turned-actor added he would love to have a friend who is dependable and supportive just like her.

Despite their chemistry on and off the screen, both actors have been upfront about their status. In fact, Nam Joo Hyuk said dating publicly would hurt his fans, stating that he would rather not do it.

The actor said he felt the same thing being a fan of Park Soo Jin and Yoon Seung Ah, who are already married with their respective spouses. "So I've realized now that if I do date publicly, I can really hurt my fans as well," he said.

Nam Joo Hyuk also shared his feelings usually stay for a long time, revealing his admiration towards a girl when he was in third grade. The actor said he liked the girl for three years before he was given the chance to date her in sixth grade.

After six years, model-turned-actor admitted he is still curious about the girl until now. "I used to sporadically ask how she was until I was 20, but I haven't talked to her in a while since then," Nam Joo Hyuk said.
