On top of the success "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," cast and crew, including the Swag Couple, went to Jeju Island to bond and celebrate their friendship.
A source affiliated with Nam Joo Hyuk's label confirmed the news on Tuesday, stating that the actor and his on-screen partner, Lee Sung Kyung, joined the production team and co-stars for a well-deserved break in the famous island.
"Cast members including Lee Sung Kyung, Nam Joo Hyuk, and Ji Il Joo, as well as the the director and staff went to Jeju Island last week," the source said as cited by Soompi.
It added, "Because the cast and crew had such a tight friendship as a team during the drama, the people who were free decided to go on the trip together."
Reports stated the staff and crew personally paid for the expenses of their Jeju Island trip last week.
Korean actor Ji Il Joo, who played as Nam Joo Hyuk's close friend in the drama, took to his Instagram account to share a selca with his "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" co-stars inside the plane.

On Wednesday, Lee Sung Kyung also posted a snippet of their Jeju Island trip and captioned, "We went to Jeju Island to have fun. I love our team #WeightliftingFairyKimBokJoo."
The 26-year-old actress has previously expressed her love to the staff and crew of the drama series through a food truck, Allkpop reported. Lee Sung Kyung treated the production team of "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" with ddukbokki and a sweet message.
"Do you like... ddukbokki? Today, Bok Joo is treating you," the truck's banner stated, imitating Lee Sung Kyung's popular line from the drama series, "Do you like Messi?"
