The last time everyone saw Dane DeHaan in big pictures was for "The Amazing Spiderman 2." He returns in "A Cure for Wellness" that promises horror, suspense and some creepy visuals from acclaimed director Gore Verbenski.

"A Cure for Wellness" is an upcoming horror thriller starring Dane DeHaan and the latest trailer gives a creepy preview of a supernatural, suspense film about a guy living a picturesque asylum with dark secrets. The trailer also promises interesting visuals but clearly meant to shock horror fans.
But the films excitement should also rest on its director - Gore Verbenski, for some reason, has left the horror genre for more than decade. Before this film, Verbenski's last film featuring of the same genre was "The Ring" according to his IMDB page. After the successful horror remake, Verbenski was busy working with Johnny Depp for the Pirates trilogy and other projects featuring the same actor.
For those wondering, the trailer also features a very eerie soundtrack that perfectly intones the film. The song is titled "I Wanna be Sedated" originally sang by the Ramones according to Rolling Stone released in 1978. The slow, techno version was voiced by Mirel Wagner and version kills it for the trailer because it's an eerie backdrop against everything weird and odd happening in the asylum.
An Unexpected One-Way Trip
The film is about Lockhart, an executive sent to get his CEO. The task is simple enough but he ends up getting dragged in the "wellness center" because he was immediately diagnosed with the same sickness that everyone seems to suffer. The doctors in the center looks like they are playing with their patients and toying them with the cure for their unknown disease.
"A Cure for Wellness" drops in US theaters this February 17.
