The "Godzilla" anime finally has its main cast introduced to the public. Anime fans will surely be delighted as the movie has an all-star lineup of voice actors. Besides the announcement of its main cast, a new concept art was also revealed.

According to Crunchyroll, the main cast will include Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokazu Sugita, Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, and Mamoru Miyano.

The cast was considered as an all-star group because the voice actors were known for working on hit anime shows and films in Japan. Yuki Kaji voiced Eren in "Attack on Titan" while Takahiro Sakurai voiced Mega Man X. Junichi Suwabe's most popular role is Keigo in "The Prince of Tennis.

Kana Hanazawa was known for voicing a number of anime shows in Japan such as "Angel Beats!" and "Pyscho-Pass." Mamoru Miyano, also an actor and singer received awards for his role as Light Yagami in "Death Note."

The upcoming Japanese science fiction anime kaiju film serves as the 32nd film in the "Godzilla" franchise although it will be the first anime film in the said franchise. It will be helmed by Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita with a screenplay by Gen Urobuchi.

Meanwhile, the "Godzilla" anime concept art shows human piloted mechs hunting Godzilla. The words "Old Tanzawa" can be noticed below, which refers to a mountain range somewhere in Japan.

A teaser might be revealed sometime in late March. The "Godzilla" animated film is a collaboration between Toho and Polygon Pictures.

The "Godzilla" anime will have a stage event that will take place at the AnimeJapan 2017 convention in Tokyo this March 26, Anime News Network has learned. The event organized by the AnimeJapan Organization will be held at the main area of the East Exhibition Halls.

Besides "Godzilla" alone, there is no final title announced for the movie. As of this writing, the details about the story or the plot has been kept under wraps.

Toho's "Shin Godzilla" a.k.a Godzilla: Resurgence in Southeast Asia became the second highest-grossing domestic film in Japan in 2016. It made whopping 8.11 billion yen ($69 million) in the box-office.
