The Sims franchise has come a long way. From introducing a friendly society, Electronic Arts' life simulation game now has supernaturals in it. With the arrival of "The Sims 4 Vampires" game pack, players could create vampires with supernatural powers.
These supernatural powers include turning other Sims into vampires. Players are allowed to choose between two forms: the regular and the dark vampire. Having both forms allow players to spin into the Dark form to perform vampire actions.
The goal in "The Sims 4 Vampires" is to get enough Plasma, powers and sleep. Plasma refers to vampire's drink and comes in different varieties. For a quick fix, Sims can simply purchase a Plasma Pack. For a long-term option, they can grow Plasma fruit.
Players can customize right from their outfit down to their physical appearance via "Create a Sim." They could have glowing eyes, unsettling eye sockets, and new skin tones.
They can be born as vampires but they will only have powers once they reached their teenage years. According to Sims VIP, child Sims will have new hair and clothing of their own but their supernatural side will not reveal until they are teens. Unless they have some Birthday Cake to spare then they will stop aging entirely.
Sims can live forever in Forgotten Hollow, the world that will be introduced in the impending game. Forgotten Hollow has one block and five lots. Night-time also lasts long in the new world.
In the centuries-old neighborhood, players can create a perfect vampire home using Build & Buy Mode objects. It is noticeable that this new world is entirely different from other Sims worlds in so many ways. Although the Sims' world will be focused in Forgotten Hollow, they could be in other worlds from time to time and blend in with the crowd.
"The Sims 4 Vampires" DLC will be released on Jan. 24. EA is yet to announce the price of "The Sims 4" Vampire Pack. The Sims official website will release more information about the vampire powers in the coming weeks. For now, watch this trailer for the upcoming DLC:
