A lot of characters from Marvel's stable are getting standalone movies in the coming years as the Marvel Cinematic Universe enters its Phase Three. Spider-Man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel are among the many superheroes slated to make their solo debut, but there are still some people from the roster that fans want to see in a movie of their own. Such is the case of Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson, members of the Avengers and one of the most visible characters in the MCU.

In a recent interview, Renner revealed the idea he has for a potential "Hawkeye" standalone film. "I always thought it would make sense early on to do a Hawkeye/Widow movie because they're quite similar," Renner explained, Edmonton Sun reported. Having Hawkeye and Black Widow tag team in a film would make for a pretty unique and interesting story for Marvel considering that both characters do not have superpowers, but are equipped with exceptional skill sets. Moreover, it would be nice to see more of their long-running friendship on screen.

Unfortunately for Renner and fans of Hawkeye and Black Widow, the idea hasn't been table yet at Marvel. The actor, however, expressed his desire to do the movie if given the opportunity.

In the interview, Renner also revealed how close everyone in the MCU has gotten. He also hinted that everyone in the Avengers will soon see each other as they film "Avengers: Infinity War" in Atlanta, Comicbook.com wrote.

Meanwhile, Renner stated that he's considering a full-time music gig after acting. The actor has been writing music for years. He shared that he even has a studio at home where he writes songs and records.

As a matter of fact, Renner managed to mix both his Avenger life and music life in a parody performance of "Thinking Out Loud," in which he sang about Hawkeye's powers. Check out the video below.
