"Legends of Tomorrow" will introduce Star Wars creator George Lucas on the show's winter premiere episode titled "Raiders of the Lost Art."

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Legends of Tomorrow" will feature a young version of Lucas on the said episode that will deeply affect the time travel heroes, particularly Ray and Nate. "Grimm" actor Matt Angel has been tapped to portray the young director.

"Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school," executive producer Marc Guggenheim has previewed.

"As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark. As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn't exist."

When viewers last tuned in on "Legends of Tomorrow," it was revealed that Rip Hunter is alive and has landed a job in Hollywood as a film director during the late-1960s. To connect the dots, it appears that Rip's storyline tie up to the casting of a young George Lucas - who at that time was busy working on the "Star Wars" trilogy.

To give fans another reason to be stoked about "Raiders of the Lost Art," Guggenheim further shared that it is one of the "most ambitious" episodes the series has ever done.

"I said to Greg [Berlanti] that 209 is either going to be the episode where we'll say that the show found a new gear in terms of how zany it can be, or it's the episode that's going to get us all fired," he said.

"It really is. You're laughing out loud, I think with it, but it's like, 'Are we really doing this?' It's the '70s bar fight on steroids. The whole episode is that level of crazy."

Angel's other TV credits include "Longmire," "Major Crimes," "Complications" and "The Night Shift." He currently stars as Officer Mike Veach on MTV's action-comedy series, "Sweet/Vicious."

"Legends of Tomorrow" returns with episode 209 on Jan. 24th on the CW.
