The Golden State Warriors (19-3) clash with the Utah Jazz (14-9) at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Dec. 8 as the 2016-2017 NBA season continues.

Golden State is currently on a three-game winning run after dropping their third game of the season in a double-overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on Dec. 1. The team has won 15 of their last 16 games to stay on top of the Western Conference standings.

In their most recent game on Wednesday night, the Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 115-98, at the Staples Center, as per USA Today. It was the seventh straight victory for the Warriors against the Clippers in the two team's head-to-head matchup.

Four Golden State starters scored in double figures, headed by Klay Thompson with 24 points, four rebounds, and three assists with Draymond Green contributing 22 points, five boards, four assists, and two steals.

Stephen Curry had 19 points, four rebounds, six assists, and seven steals while Kevin Durant chipped in 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and one steal. Off the bench, Andre Iguodala fired 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Jazz is also on a three-game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight games to climb to the seventh place in the West standings.

Utah turned back a tough challenge from the Phoenix Suns, 112-105, last Tuesday also at the home court of Vivint Smart Home Arena for their third consecutive victory, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Gordon Hayward led head coach Quin Snyder's men with 28 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals while Rudy Gobert had a double-double of 22 points and 11 boards with four blocked shots.

Veteran forward Boris Diaw contributed 13 points, four rebounds, and six assists as part of the starting lineup. Another veteran, Joe Johnson, also netted 13 points off the bench while Shelvin Mack fired 12 points also as a substitute.

Prediction

The Warriors are an excellent road team being 10-1 so far this season while the Jazz is decent at home with a 7-4 record. Another big win for Golden State is predicted.
