Korean-American singer Ailee revealed her weight issues in her recent guesting in SBS Power FM’s popular radio show “Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time” on December 6.

During the show, the "Goodbye My Love" singer admitted that she had recently gained weight. However, program host DJ Choi Hwa Jung commented although Ailee had put on a little weight, she still looked attractive. In fact, he even added that she no longer needs to reduce her food intake.

"[Right now] I've gained more than when I was really skinny. It's weird because I don't know what to do…When I lose weight, people tell me to gain weight again, and when I gain weight, people tell me to lose weight,” said Ailee as quoted by All Kpop.

"I think it'll be pretty if you gain 2kg to the weight when you were skinny,” commented DJ Choi followed by a response from Ailee that she is almost there.

Born as Amy Lee, Ailee was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and New Jersey respectively. In 2010 the singer moved to South Korea to pursue her music career and was recruited by the talent management agency. She was later featured Wheesung's song "They Are Coming as well as in Decipher and Jay Park's collaboration song "Catch Me If You Can".

In 2012, Ailee made her official debut in the entertainment industry. Along with her introduction to the public is the release of her single titled “Heaven”.

In October this year, she made her comeback in the industry with her 4th mini album “A New Empire”, reports All Kpop. The record contains a total of 6 tracks including “Home” featuring Yoon Mirae, “Peekaboo / Why You Think I'm In Love With You”, and “Feelin” featuring Eric Nam.
