Game publisher THQ Nordic revealed a new trailer for "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition." The trailer brings back fans to the series with a cleaner and more modern look.
THQ Nordic mentioned that the "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" will feature 4K support for both the PC and Playstation Pro version running at 60fps (frames per second) in all platforms, except for the Nintendo Wii U which will run at only 30fps. In addition to that, the remastered game will run at 1080p screen resolution for consoles, and double up on texture resolutions, rendering, improvements and such.
The latest trailer of "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" features the return of the first horseman of the Apocalypse, War, as he trudges through the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Earth, where angels, demons and other otherworldly creatures roam. The protagonist stands accused of bringing in the premature apocalypse in the world, thus breaking the sacred law of Heaven and Hell. With his powers stripped off him, he was given a chance to prove himself innocent and uncover the truth behind the end of the world.
Eurogamer mentions that fans are still eager for the third installation of the "Darksiders" franchise, that was announced back then in 2013 by THQ Nordic. While the first "Darksiders" featured War and "Darksiders 2" featured Death, the possible "Darksiders 3" would have feature either of the remaining Horsemen of the Apocalypse from the Bible, whether it would have been the female whip-wielding Fury or the gunslinging Strife.
"Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" is the remastered version of the first "Darksiders" game released back in Jan. 5 2010. The post-apocalyptic adventure video game was developed by Virgil Games and published by THQ Nordic.
"Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" will be launched for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 22, with the PC version having a later release date on Nov. 29, 2016.
