Bandai Namco to release ‘Road to Boruto’ expansion for ‘Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4’

"Naruto" gaming fans will be getting a treat as Bandai Namco Entertainment will be set on releasing the upcoming expansion for "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" called "Road to Boruto." The expansion will be adding the powered up forms of Naruto and Sasuke from the "Boruto -Naruto the Movie-" anime film.

According to Anime News Network, "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto" will be including characters with brand-new fighting techniques. Just a couple of months ago Bandai Namco Entertainment just released a commercial video, which features both Naruto and Sasuke along with Boruto and other characters.

However, the Japanese version has so far been only announced for the PS4, with it being offered in a physical release, a digital download release, and a DLC expansion release. Players who don't have the "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4"  game yet can just buy the physical and digital download release 6,800 yen (about $66 USD), which already includes all the DLCs including "Road to Boruto." But to those who already have the game can just buy the DLC separately for 2,411 yen ($23 USD). Additionally, their save files can be transferred to the new expansion as well.

In addition to that, the Japanese release will also have a first-print limited edition downloadable soundtrack for both the main game and the "Road to Boruto" expansion, which is available for download from Feb. 2 to Mar. 1. The expansion's physical release will be including a reversible box cover.

The "Road to Boruto" expansion will be letting players play through the events of the "Boruto" manga and "Boruto -Naruto the Movie-." They will also get to experience the battle between Sasuke and Kinshiki and also explore new areas that been opened in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Entertainment still plans to release the North American and European versions a little bit later than the Japanese versions. The expansion for the PS4, Steam and Xbox One will have 13 language options - four dubbed voice tracks, which are Japanese, English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish, and multiple subtitle options such as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Arabic.

The Japanese version of "Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto" will be released on Feb. 2 next year, while the North American and European versions will be released on Feb. 3.
