This must be it - the extra materials to "Bleach" manga's last volume. Recently, it was announced that Tite Kubo's most sought-after "Bleach" manga will no longer continue and the 74th volume would be the last. The revelation created huge disappointment among fans but to appease them, two more novels will serve as the extra material to the last volume.

The franchise's two novels will be written by other two manga experts. The first novel will be written by Makoto Matsubara that will highlight Renji and Rukia and will be released in December. Ryohgo Narita will pen the second novel that will emphasize on Shūhei Hisagi's secret battle and is scheduled for 2017 release, as noted by Anime News Network.

According to MyAnimeList, Matsubara is responsible for some of Bleach's published volumes including "Unmasked Short Stories", "Letters From the Other Side", "The Death Save the Strawberry", and "The Honey Dish Rhapsody". Narita, on the other hand, is the original creator of "Baccano!", "Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Seneki", and "Durarara!!".

Creator and illustrator Tite Kubo originally released the "Bleach" manga in 2001 in Weekly Shonnen Jump and ceased it on August 22. Shueisha continued the publishing of new chapters in Japan while Viz Media serves as the digital publisher in North America and published the manga in English. On March 7, Viz Media published the 69th volume.

The manga even has TV anime adaptation that aired with 366 episodes which started from 2004 to 2012. In 2006, Viz Media acquired the rights for television and home video rights of Bleach. Cartoon Network's Adult Swim premiered the anime in English in 2006 and in 2014 aired all the episodes. The first volume of the TV anime series on Blu-ray Disc was shipped on July 19.

"Bleach manga" is all set to have a live-action movie adaptation scheduled for 2018. Sōta Fukushi will play the role of Ichigo Kurosaki while Shinsuke Sato directs the film.
