After the success of his recently finished TV drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”, South Korean actor Park Bo Gum sat down in an interview with Ilgan Sports and opened up about his thoughts every time he is matched with friend Song Joong Ki.
According to the 23-year-old star, he is motivating himself to do better every time that he hears that he is being compared with Song. Furthermore, Lee revealed that the he is motivating himself participate in his craft, as well as in life, in a more truthful and wise manner.
"I personally think that I was very lacking. If I can do it again, then I want to fix the parts that I lack and do better," said Park as quoted by All KPop.
Lee added that he was lost and lacked confidence in his skill when he was still starting as an actor. However, because of prayer and advices from Song, he managed to develop his acting abilities.
“Hyung then told me that I need to trust myself and do my best. We also went out to eat together and he was so supportive toward me,” shared Park.
Aside from sharing his thoughts about the comparison issues with Song, Park also expressed his gratitude to his label mates from his talent management agency Blossom Entertainment. According to the actor as quoted by Soompi: “I’m also grateful because Im Joo Hwan has done so many historical dramas. He talked to me in detail about things like the clothes you wear when you’re in a historical drama.”
Park started debuted in 2011 after playing the supporting role in the thriller film “Blind”. He is known for his portrayals in “Hello Monster”, “Reply 1988”, and “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”
