The petition argues that Tarantino is known for making great dialogues that instantly hooks the audience and Ryan Reynolds knows how give life to the said dialogue. The acclaimed director is also known for having a knack in creating some of the best villains in the movie industry.
Getting Tarantino for his ability to write great dialogues is based on his multiple critically acclaimed films that he wrote and directed. The director's first true hit was the 1992 crime drama "Reservoir Dogs" and his next project as the writer/director is "Pulp Fiction" that currently stands as one of modern cult films of today.
On the other hand, Ryan Reynolds have practically owned the character and ushered the success of the film. His performance in the film also gained positive review as the film's humor perfectly blended with the character's fourth wall conversations and revelations.
Even with the petition, it is unlikely that Tarantino will entertain working on existing material according to Screen Rant. The acclaimed director also believes that he only has two more projects to work on before finally retiring in the film industry.
