After his recent fainting incident at the Incheon International Airport which turned out to the sudden panic and worry of his supporters, EXO’s Lay finally speaks up in front of the crowd and took the blame to himself

During an event for Chinese drama “The Mystic Nine” on October 19, the 25-year-old star acknowledged his negligence which resulted in him fainting in a public place when asked by the program host about his recent incident and his health condition, All Kpop reported. Furthermore, he asked his fans not to blame his talent management agency SM Entertainment for the incident that has happened.

“The fainting was my fault. Please don’t curse the people who work with me in the same company. The arrangement of the schedule was mostly my choice,” said Lay as quoted by Soompi.

He added: “I’m the type who doesn’t like to admit defeat so I try to do everything I can. The agency respects my thoughts.”

Lay was supposed to head to Hokkaido, Japan on October 11 for EXO's upcoming show when he lost his consciousness at the airport. The group held a concert at the Makomanai Sekisui Heim Ice Arena on October 12-13.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment has added some more details regarding the star’s upcoming solo debut and album. According to the agency, Lay's upcoming Chinese album will be titled “Lose Control”.

Set to be released on the music stores on October 28, the record will contain 6 songs which are all written, composed, and produced by the KPop star himself.
