Fans are finally going crazy with excitement as Rockstar Games finally had the right mind to reveal a "Red Dead Redemption" sequel! Now that the announcement has gone official, the open-world Wild West game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (but, not for PC, unfortunately).

According to VG 24/7, a teaser trailer will be revealed this coming Thursday at 11am EST, which translates to 8am PT, 11am ET, 4pm BST, 5pm CEST. A poster has been revealed as well with silhouettes of cowboys walking away from the sun, with also a Native American on the far right.

Rockstar also stated that the sequel to epic cowboy adventure is "is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland." That being said the open-world aspect of studio's games will be bringing in "a brand-new online multiplayer experience" too, just like what they did for "Grand Theft Auto V."

The game studio has yet to offer details on the gameplay of "Red Dead Redemption 2" but they have already set an online domain for its servers in "Red Dead Online," Gamespot reported. The online mode for "Grand Theft Auto V," otherwise known as "GTA Online," has reportedly brought in $500 million or more. While the first "Red Dead Redemption" game had multiplayer features, it looks like the sequel might do even more.

Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar Games, added description to the content in a statement saying, "With 'Red Dead Redemption 2,' the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world. We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we've learned making games."

The first "Red Dead Redemption" title back in 2010 earned a lot selling around 13 million copies as of 2012, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.  Unfortunately, the game along with its sequel won't have a PC port.

Until the actual news on the game will be released in its teaser announcement, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is slated for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in fall 2017.
