"One Punch Man" is coming back soon since the series has been confirmed for another season. In the upcoming season, Saitama is back defending the city but he could end up fighting someone who tested his true powers: Lord Boros.

The runaway 2015 anime hit "One Punch Man" is back for another season. Although the release date is still unknown, there is high hope that the series would premiere before the end of 2016 or early 2017. According to My Anime List, the series premiered Oct. 2015 and it ran for 12 episodes.

(Warning: potential spoilers)

The first season of Saitama's adventure in "One Punch Man" is focused on the superhero's struggle to truly appreciate his role as a hero because of his ability to eliminate villains with a single punch. Additional characters were also introduced such as student Genos and a very dangerous villain Lord Boros.

Lord Boros is Saitama's final enemy before the end of the series. The series ends with Saitama winning the battle against Boros even though he was literally kicked to the moon. Even with his earth shattering cannon attack, Boros could not muster enough energy against Saitama's strongest punch.

Even though Boros was decimated in season one, there is a possibility that he could be back in the second season. One of Boros' power is regeneration - a power that allows him to grow back even after serious pounding from Saitama. If the super villain is indeed back, Saitama will have his hands full as he has to deal with other villains popping out in various cities.

According to Anime News Network, the second season of "One Punch Man" is set to return with the upcoming mobile game based on the popular anime TV series. If the second season follows the schedule of the initial season, the series is set to return before the end of the year.

The second season of "One Punch Man" is set to return with more adventures from Saitama. Even though Boros was finished by Saitama, his regenerative abilities has made it possible that he could be back to challenge a powerful superhero.
