Everybody is having high hopes for the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as the latest movie in Marvel's beloved friendly neighborhood wall-crawler. The hype is so real that actor Tom Holland as actually teased the film already having a sequel in the talks.
In a statement with WWD, Holland mentioned that the studio would be considering a sequel. Of course, he wouldn't want to mention anything else about it except that they are "talking about the second one, who the villain is going to be, and where [they're] going."
The production for the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" has already wrapped up. Additionally Holland has actually revealed that he did many of the stunts, along with actual stunt professionals doing the more challenging tasks, as stated by Variety.
"Whenever there was a stunt that I didn't necessarily feel comfortable about," said the young actor. "They would step in and show my how to do it, and coach me through the process."
The actor playing as Peter Parker and his super heroic alter ego admitted that wearing the suit for hours wasn't best experience for him. But Holland had to stay positive and enthusiastic for the role. "[...]Sometimes when it's uncomfortable," explained Holland. "You just have to remind yourself of the long list of actors that would love to be in [it] and you just go, 'do you know what, f**k it. I'm the luckiest kid alive.'"
Earlier this year, images of the character Shocker were revealed and it was rumored that "Fargo" star Bokeem Woodbine would play the villain. Michael Keaton is said to also possibly join in the roster for villains as the Vulture.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" hits theaters on July 7, 2017 and will also star Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr, Donald Glover, Tony Revolori, and Tyne Daly.
