"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" producer Yousuke Futami revealed in an interview that the story will take 30 to 40 hours to finish. If you are looking for a more immersive experience, it offers 70 to 100 hours of gameplay.

"If you just play through the main game, it's about 30 to 40 hours. Of course, including replayability elements like leveling up to the maximum level, doing all the quests and such, then it's going to be about 70 to 100 hours of gameplay," Futami told Gematsu.

Futami went to say that the game does not support cross-platform gameplay this time but said that they will provide a cross-save support. This will enable players to take their saves to PS Vita. Consequently, he said that there is a plan to focus to PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One platforms in the future.

As for the upcoming release of PlayStation VR, he said that it might take a little more time to bring the game to Virtual reality.

"Personally, I think the release of PlayStation VR is really great for the games industry. It brings a virtual reality experience to all the players, and that's a new experience. As for Sword Art Online, because all of the characters in the game are attack their opponents using swords. That is one of the difficult things to express in virtual reality. So maybe we'll need a little more time to get used to it in the virtual reality world," he explained.

The game will be available in physically and digitally on PS Vita and PS4 formats in Europe and North America, Anime News Network reported.

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will be available on Nov. 8.
