A recap from Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo Episode 14 tells the king death of mercury poisoning and Yo returned who was thought to be dead from falling off the cliff. The episode ended where Yo and So had a duel leaving So decides whom to choose - the dead king or Hae-Soo.
So knelt before Yo and greeted him as the new king just to save the life of his love Hae-Soo. After all that happened, So wants to take Hae-Soo out of the palace but was intercepted by Prince Won. She was warned not to get out of the palace or she will be charged with poisoning the late king.
Since Yo became king, many were slaughtered especially those who opposed him. He even ordered the arrest of Eun and his wife. Fortunately, there were able to escape even before they got killed. Eun's grandfather was executed along with the other members of the family. He ordered So to find and kill him to have his other brothers especially Hae-Soo safe.
King Yo is sending Yeon Wha to Khitan in replacement of Princess Kyung Hwa who was married to So. Of course, she is upset and was always threatened to get married. She believed that the 10th prince is hiding in Dawimon after seeing the folded towels like in the origami. She talked to King Yo and Wook and probably informed them of her discovery.
Eun, his wife Soon-deok, Jung, and Hae-Soo are checking on what route to take to avoid palace guards until Hae-Soo suggested of a cave. Jung and Soon-deok are removing some rocks to pave the way in the cave for their escape. Soon-deok's long hair is bothersome due to heat and sweat while Jung handed her a hairpin. She became curious of the pin's owner and Jung told her about the girl but did not reveal her name. Jung has a crush on Hae-Soo!
The episode ended in Eun and his wife escaping to the boat, however, palace guards came and started looking for them. Soon-deok went the other way after entrusting his husband to Hae-Soo for his escape. However, he followed his wife saying that he is all she has. Hae-Soo was left standing and in shock. Hopefully, Eun and his wife could escape the wrath of King Yo and not be executed.
