Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has finally agreed to appear as guest on the popular celebrity talk show "Koffee with Karan 5." As per media reports, the 31-year-old British model turned Bollywood actress became close to Johar after her break up with actor Ranbir Kapoor early this year and she agreed to be part of the show because of her friendship with Johar.
"Evident from previous episodes and interviews, Johar has always successfully extracted the most scandalous nuggets from his celebrity guests. It is now under speculation whether Kaif also obliges by sharing some home truths of her relationship" sources said, reported Media247 news portal. It will be second time Kaif will appear as guest on director Karan Johar hosted celebrated talk show earlier she has appeared in the second season of the show along with actress and model Lara Dutta.
The fifth season of "Koffee with Karan" will be back on television on November 6, reported DNA India newspaper. Superstar Shahrukh Khan and young actress Alia Bhatt will be the first guest on the show. They will be seen promoting their upcoming movie "Dear Zindagi." Earlier media reports said that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan was finalized as the first guest of "Koffee with Karan 5."But the "Humsafar" actor opted out of the show due to recent ban on Pakistani artists from working in India. Khan will be next seen in Johar directorial "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." The romance drama, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, is slated to hit theaters on October 28.
