Rob Schneider voices the title character in the new animated film "Norm of the North," which was released on Jan. 15, Friday. The actor, who is of Jewish and Filipino descent, is known for starring in several films with "Hotel Transylvania" star Adam Sandler.

In a recent interview with Star-Telegram, Schneider was asked about the time when he felt like he made it in the entertainment business. He replied, "Oh gosh, Dana Carvey and I talked about it. Stay hungry you can never feel that way."

According to Schneider, he said after the release of the "Deuce Bigalow" films, he had a conversation with Warren Beatty and he was surprised that the award-winning actor knew him. Also, "Blowin' in the Wind" singer Bob Dylan called and wanted to know who he was.

When asked about the performer that he has worked with that made him laugh, Schneider said it was Sandler in sketch comedy added that it is tough to be in a scene with his "The Ridiculous 6" co-actor.

Like being in a scene with Sandler, Schneider also said that it is tough to be in a sketch with "The Jungle Book" star Christopher Walken because he made him laugh. In addition, Schneider said Carvey and the late Robin Williams are "explosively funny."

After starring in several films, Schneider still has a list of artists he wishes to work with. The list includes Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, Judd Apatow and Chris Rock, who he said is a genius just like Sandler.

When it comes to voice acting, Schneider said the most difficult part is taking himself out of the equation. He pointed out that it is important for a voice actor to "get up and move."

Schneider's fellow voice actors in "Norm of the North" include Heather Graham, Bill Nighy, Colm Meaney, Loretta Devine and South Korean actor Ken Jeong, among others. Schneider voices a polar bear who has the ability to talk to humans in the animated film, which he was happy to do because it is something his little daughter can understand.

"I've got a three-year-old," The Chicago Sun-Times quoted Schneider as saying. "She doesn't really understand what I do and that's okay. But I decided, here's one for you, Honey."
