Marvel's Nick Fury actor Samuel L. Jackson teases the return of his character and S.H.I.E.L.D as an organization to MCU films.

In an interview, he confirmed that his characters will make an appearance in future MCU films at some point. However, he declined to tell in what film specifically but said that his character will definitely be in "Avengers: Infinity War," Coming Soon reported.

"Yeah! For sure, definitely. Why wouldn't there be? he said then added, "They'll bring me back somehow, some way, for some reason. I mean, they didn't have me around to referee the kids when they didn't go to their rooms and got in this big old fight. We'll see what happens."

He went to say that Fury is probably somewhere figuring out what exactly happened. Jackson also teased that there is a possibility of finding out that everything was just part of a ruse to get to something else.

"There's some way of fixing what they created, and hopefully somebody has that going on or Fury is out there - wherever he is, probably hanging out with Jules and walking the world - figuring out what happened and how it got to that particular place," he said.

Marvel fans speculated that Fury might make an appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok" since Jackson was spotted in Australia filming "Kong: Skull Island" at the Village Roadshow Studios. Do note that none of these had been confirmed by the studio, Cinema Blend reported.

Jackson has been a recurring presence in the MCU since its conception. Fury made a surprise appearance in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Since then, S.H.I.E.L.D as an organization had been reorganized without Fury in the hit television series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
