A New York-based restaurant called The Maharlika named a drink after Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. She visited the restaurant after stopping by its sister establishment Jeepney Filipino Gastropub for an interview.

When she visited The Maharlika, Wurtzbach was was presented with a blue concoction dubbed Pia the Drink, Manila Bulletin reported. The bartender of the restaurant who invented the concoction told the publication that he remembered Wurtzbach saying the drink is blue just like her dress and crown.

In addition, the bartender said Wurtzbach compared herself to Pia the Drink saying they are both strong. He also took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Miss Universe 2015.

In December 2015, Miss Universe 2015 host Steve Harvey wrongfully stated Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez the victor even though she was the first runner-up. Not knowing that the actual winner was the beauty queen representative of the Philippines, the Sofia Vergara lookalike smiled, waved at the audience and blew kisses to the other Miss Universe 2015 candidates.

Moments later, a remorseful Harvey was forced to fix his mistake as he went back to the stage to explain. He told the puzzled Las Vegas audience, "This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake."

Wurtzbach initially appeared not knowing what to do. When her name was called, she finally walked to the front of the stage where the crown was transferred to her head from Miss Colombia's.

The host of "Family Feud" has since apologized on his Twitter account for announcing the wrong winner. The host called the incident an "honest mistake" as he profusely apologized to both beauty queens.

Meanwhile, Wurtzbach is in New York fulfilling her duties as Miss Universe with non-stop media appearances and interviews. She hopes to pursue a career in the United States after her yearlong reign, Manila Bulletin reported.

The Filipino-German beauty will visit the Philippines on Jan. 23, her first visit to her home country after being crowned the winner of the beauty pageant.
