Developer 4A Games has been known to produce the "Metro" series, which was hit among game reviews. Now they're teasing about a new game in the making and it appears to have elements of Sci-Fi in it.

According to PC Gamer, the studio teased fans in their Facebook and Twitter pages showing a photo of the studio working on 3D models and programming. Many of the crew wore Oculus Rift headsets indicating that a VR platform is a possibility.

In addition to the tease, 4A Games just released two images yesterday on their social media pages. The computer generated images look crisp and high quality, indicating the studio's graphic capabilities, portraying on what seems to be a black sci-fi suit. The image in Facebook appeared to have the suit's glove holding a weapon, while the one in Twitter appears to have the glove holding some sort of joystick with a holographic interface.

In an earlier article of Eurogamer, Digital Foundry had an interview with 4A Games' Chief Technical Officer Oles Shishkovstov. While talking about the "Metro Redux" collection being ported into the new consoles, he did also mention the company's direction on working on a new project.

While working on the "Metro Redux" game, the studio has "definitely" had a better understanding of the hardware. Hence, this would pave a better way for the upcoming game project in development.

Shishkovstov didn't want to get into more detail than this. But he did say the game would have a "sandbox-style experience." He stated that it would be "less linear [than 'Metro] but still hugely story-driven."
