Agency releases Gyuri’s new profile shots

Talent management agency Motion Media has recently exposed the new profile shots of the South Korean singer, actress and former KARA member Gyuri.

In the photos released on September 13, the artist revealed a new version of herself as she carried out her matured sophisticated looks. According to All Kpop, Gyuri’s latest profile shots signals her major return in the world of acting.

Before joining KARA, Gyuri has already established herself in the industry as an actress. She made her first appearance on TV at the age of 7 in the drama series “Today is a Nice Day” and later played the young version of teenage version of actress Kim Jung Eun's character in SBS drama “Ladies of the Palace”.

In 2009, she became one of the group members of the girl group KARA alongside Nicole Jung, Han Seungyeon, and Kim Sunghee. However, the band decided to part ways in January this year making the members pursue solo careers.

Meanwhile, Gyuri has recently made her movie debut in the romance film “Two Rooms, Two Nights” which premiered on April 14, All KPop reported. She was paired with model Kim Jae Wook

In the movie, the singer-actress portrayed the role of the lead character Mina who is in a relationship In Sung (played by Kim). The couple’s relationship will be affected by In Sung’s ex-girlfriend which will be represented by actress Chae Jung Ahn

Gyuri, who was lately named as “goddess” by her supporters, has also changed her talent management agency. She signed a management contract with the entertainment label Motion Media in July.
