Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" is a highly anticipated movie this year because of her amazing portrayal of the superhero in "Batman vs. Superman." But even though the film is going to be her origin story, another member of the Justice League might drop by according to recent rumors.

Batman Cameo Possible in 'Wonder Woman'

(Warning: Possible Spoilers)

"Wonder Woman" will soon drop in theaters worldwide and it will focus on Princess Diana's origin story. Set in World War I it will tell the story on how the Princess of Themyscira ended up fighting for humans in the war.

Which begs the question: if the film is set in World War I, why are there rumors of a Batman cameo in the film? The timeline is just plain wrong.

Apparently according to Comic Book, the movie will not start with Diana fighting her first love in the beach. She will be at the present timeline receiving an email from the Dark Knight himself inviting her to be part of the Justice League.

Deep Tie-in with Justice League

An email from Ben Affleck's Batman doesn't mean he's going to appear in the movie but he could send more than just an invitation. But additional information was also revealed about the movie an it's going to have a deeper connection with the upcoming Justice League superhero mash-up.

According to Flickering Myth, Princess Diana's decision to join the Justice League is based on what happened in the past. Batman's invitation to Diana will set her off to remember what happened in the past - and that's basically the beginning for her story in the movie. The movie will possibly end with Diana agreeing to work with Batman and form the league.

Although the idea of a movie is simply based on Diana's memories, it's still looks great based on the recent trailers and behind the scene pictures shared by Gadot herself.

"Wonder Woman" hits theaters this June 2017. Watch the latest trailer here:
