Preview

Sacramento has continued with their losing ways after winning three of their previous four matches. The team is 10th in the West right now, tied with the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves with identical win-loss records.

In their most recent match on Monday night, the Kings were edged by the Philadelphia 76ers 122-119 on the road at the Wells Fargo Center for their second loss in their last three games, as per the Sacramento Bee.

DeMarcus Cousins had a monster night with 46 points on 11-for-16 field goal shooting, including a 4-for-6 stint from beyond the arc and 20-for-22 clip from the charity stripe. He also hauled down 15 rebounds and dished off five assists in a losing effort.

No other starter scored in double figures, but two bench players contributed double-digits in scoring, namely Willie Cauley-Stein and Matt Barnes with 17 and 16 points respectively.

Ty Lawson had 11 assists, four points, and three boards also coming off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Rockets is still struggling as of late with three losses in their last four games. The team is still third in the West, though, three games behind second-place team San Antonio Spurs and three-and-a-half games ahead of fourth-running squad Los Angeles Clippers.

Houston is coming off a 120-101 thrashing at the hands of the Indiana Pacers last Sunday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Fox Sports reported.

Ryan Anderson top-scored for head coach Mike D'Antoni's side with 27 points and seven rebounds while Montrezl Harrell had 10 points and seven boards as well.

Just two days after his historic performance against the Sixers, James Harden had an off-night, only producing 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in the tough defeat.

Off the bench, Eric Gordon and Clint Capela fired in twin digits with 14 and 10 points respectively.

Prediction

The Kings are 11-16 on the road this season while the Rockets are 17-5 at home. A bounce back victory for Houston is predicted as Harden goes back to his top form.
