After their on-screen chemistry on "Music Bank" as the MCs, rumors are circulating that Irene and Park Bo Gum are seeing each other in real life.
The Red Velvet member and actor have worked together for over a year on "Music Bank," where they grew closer to each other. Fans were even distressed after Irene and Park they will no longer be part of the KBS show, Koreaboo reported.
Because of their connection on "Music Bank," fans are speculating the two are dating, pointing out some instances when the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor acted like Irene's boyfriend.
Fans claimed Park has shown how considerate he was of the Red Velvet member while they were hosting the show. Many viewers also noticed the way the actor looked at Irene on "Music Bank."
However, when Irene was asked about the rumors linking her to Park, the Red Velvet member was flustered and admitted she has no idea there were reports involving the two of them, Soompi cited.
"I don't think there were any dating rumors," Irene said during an interview on "Radio Star."
Despite her clarification of the dating rumors, Irene has nothing but praises to the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor for his personality. "He is very well-mannered. When there were stairs, he would take my hand and help me down."
The Red Velvet member also added she is attracted with someone who is warm-hearted.
SM Entertainment introduced Irene a year ahead of Red Velvet's debut. The girl group officially made their debut in August 2014 with the release of "Happiness." Red Velvet first appeared on "Music Bank" to promote their debut single.
Aside from singing and hosting, Irene also debuted as an actress on "The Female Employees of a Game Company," where she took the lead role. Before that, the Red Velvet member made a cameo appearance on "Descendants of the Sun."
